A Manchester-based shredding firm has announced a six-month sales turnover of more than £3.1m.

The figures represent an increase of 21% for Shred-it, which operates a network of 15 branches nationwide.

The continued success of the company, which achieved an 18% year-on-year growth at the end of 2008, follows a string of new client wins during 2009.
